Volkern is a variant of HPL, or High Pressure Laminate. Like HPL, it is widely used as cladding because it is very sturdy and weather-resistant. The panels consist of a core of compressed wood fibers. A hard top layer is applied to both sides. Pigments are added to this top layer, making the panels available in many colors. The material is not only impact but also shock resistant. In addition, it requires little maintenance.
Not only minimal maintenance, but full-core boards are also weather-resistant. They stand up well to both moisture and sunlight. In addition, it is durable, environmentally friendly and fireproof.
Due to its excellent properties, the material is very suitable for facade cladding. Due to its light structure, it acquires a high-quality and natural appearance.
